OSU Bands Auditions – Fall 2022

Auditions for Instrumental Ensembles will take place Saturday, August 20 – Monday, August 22, 2022.

Who Should Audition?

EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to audition. Ensembles are open to ALL OSU students regardless of major. Each ensemble is made of music and non-music majors. The ensembles are solely decided upon ability.

• Music majors (regardless of scholarship amount) are required to audition
• Non-music majors on band scholarships or non-resident out-of-state tuition waivers are required to prepare the ENTIRE audition packet
• Music majors and minors are required to prepare the entire audition packet

Audition Dates

Saturday, August 20, 2022 – Woodwind Auditions
Sunday, August 21, 2022 – Brass Auditions

Monday, August 22, 2022 – Percussion Auditions

What to prepare

The following excerpts will need to be prepared in their entirety. Music majors and minors, as well as any students on tuition waivers, are required to prepare all excerpts. Click on the link below to take you to the audition packet:
